A practical, structured approach to counseling

I work with adults who may be functioning well on the outside while carrying significant stress, anxiety, exhaustion, self-criticism, or the pressure of major responsibilities. My style is active, collaborative, and goal-oriented. Therapy is a place to understand patterns, strengthen coping and emotional regulation, and translate insight into changes you can use in everyday life.

I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida and completed clinical training at the Orlando VA Medical Center, working with adults and veterans. I am a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern practicing under qualified supervision.

Approaches I draw from

CBT & REBT

Identifying and challenging unhelpful beliefs, thinking patterns, and behaviors while building more flexible responses.

ACT & Motivational Interviewing

Clarifying values, strengthening willingness to make meaningful changes, and reducing the struggle with difficult internal experiences.

Solution-Focused Strategies

Identifying strengths, exceptions, and realistic next steps when you want therapy to stay practical and forward-moving.

Individualized Care

Approaches are selected based on your concerns, goals, preferences, and clinical needs rather than forcing every client into one model.

Languages: Counseling is available in English and Portuguese. Spanish-language services may be considered when clinically appropriate and based on availability.
