True Path Counseling provides individual outpatient counseling for adults. Many clients are capable, responsible people who are used to being the person others rely on, but who feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck.
Common areas we may work on
Anxiety & chronic stress
Understanding worry cycles, physiological stress, avoidance, and patterns that keep anxiety going.
Burnout & high responsibility
Working with overload, difficult boundaries, perfectionism, work stress, and the pressure to keep functioning no matter what.
Trauma-related stress
Addressing the ongoing impact of difficult experiences when outpatient counseling is clinically appropriate.
Life transitions
Support during major changes in work, relationships, identity, family roles, grief, or periods of uncertainty.
Perfectionism & self-criticism
Examining rigid standards, harsh self-evaluation, fear of mistakes, and the cost of always needing to perform.
Relationship patterns
Exploring communication, conflict, boundaries, recurring interpersonal patterns, and decisions about relationships.
What sessions are like
Sessions are collaborative and active. We clarify what is bringing you to counseling, identify patterns that may be maintaining the problem, set goals, and choose strategies that fit your needs. Depending on the concern, this may include CBT, REBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused work, psychoeducation, behavioral strategies, and skills for emotional regulation.
